TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. – A Tybee Island teen with autism and a heart condition claims police used a Taser on him, and said he’s not sure what he did wrong.
Clifford Grevemberg said police twice used a Taser on him and threw him to the ground on Friday night, breaking one of his front teeth and scraping his face and knee. The 18-year-old was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge.
“I just wanted to go to sleep,” the 6-foot-9-inch tall, 170-pound teenager told The Savannah Morning News in a story Sunday. “I sat down on the curb and put my head in my arms, and they stopped me.”
