If you have a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and are currently in employment, you may benefit from some of our specialist training courses.
Prospects recognises that employees with an ASD may not receive training that meets their individual needs. We have designed a number of one-day courses that cover common areas of difficulty faced by people with an ASD at work. These courses, where you’ll be part of a small group, give you the chance to learn more about specific areas, share your experiences of work, and learn from other people with an ASD.
On the courses, you will begin to develop some strategies that you can use in your day-to-day working life.
Our courses are:
- *communication skills at work: next courses take place on 6 August 2009 and 5 November 2009
- *dealing with anxiety in the workplace: next courses on 13 August 2009 and 12 November 2009
- *personal management skills for the workplace: next courses on 20 August 2009 and 19 November 2009.
