Congratulations to Elbow for winning the Mercury Music Prize 2008
Everyone at the National Autistic Society would like to say a huge congratulations to the band Elbow for winning the Mercury Music Prize on 9th September. The band, who support the NAS and who will be raising money for the charity through their forthcoming tour, have been together since forming in 1991 and have won this prestigious music award for their fourth studio album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’.
The band can also be heard on the soundtrack of the new Coen Brothers Film ‘Burn After Reading’ (starring Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Tilda Swinton).
