Senator Obama will be out of the country on the day of the forum with a
congressional delegation.
A long time friend of the disability community, the Obama campaign cites
Senator Harkin as Obama’s closest disability policy advisor, noting that

Disabilities,”<http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001uX4wIjVHElepVP4veU-5NLC0p6GABWd7XZBsS3p9QYFanv5UsZfbirYRH7ANLCjrKuvQPYy8BgLQl4zLjcF7BY3HNfIEzRtSRC_gvhLMDqJKtc0at3z2b9fCf3Izpr5fVbyxidZ5XDRHNJUWRDO0DJOVQGIfUfBh>he
and Harkin discussed the policy, and Harkin made specific suggestions
for
edits. Senator Obama’s staff regularly consults with Harkin’s lead
disability staff on key disability policy pronouncements from the
campaign.
